The S & S Association Global Competition Challenge Cup 2006 Award

INVITATION TO SUBMIT AN ENTRY FOR CONSIDERATION FOR THE AWARD

The S & S Global Challenge Cup was presented to the Association by Patrick Matthiesen in order to foster competitioneach year  between members, wheresoever they were located globally. It is awarded at the AGM to the yacht winning or being placed by the widest percentage corrected time margin when  compared to the competition. Last year's winner was the S & S 34 Huckleberry in Western Australia. Previous winners have been the NY32 Falcon and  the k/cb Sinisterre among others.

Results are now invited for the calendar year 2005 for the best performance by any     S & S yacht participating in a race of over 100 miles which included an overnight passage. The race must have been officially organised and monitored by a recognised national authority. Three submissions have been received to date.

Please send  your results to Patrick Matthiesen at 7 Mason's Yard, London, SW1Y 6BU, UK with all supporting documentation, your TCF, corrected times, the results and the placements and timings of the other competing boats not later than March 31st 2006.
